Logician confirmed for St Leger

Connections of All Logician have confirmed the unbeaten colt an intended runner at the William Hill St Leger at Doncaster on Saturday.

At winning his first few starts Frankel’s boy just made his debut in May, but created a significant impression – with a pair of wins at Newbury sandwiching a similarly screen .
The John Gosden-trained three-year-old graduated to Group Two course into the head of ante-post lists to the planet’s oldest Classic with a powerful victory.
Trainer John Gosden stopped short of committing charge to the Town Moor showpiece from the immediate wake, saying:”We’ll see how he is in the subsequent 10 days before we make any choice as to where he goes .”
However, speaking on Wednesday morning, owner-breeder Khalid Abdullah’s racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe gave the green light.
Grimthorpe advised the PA news agency:”Logician is an intended runner in the St Leger.
“We’re always nervous of confirming these things directly after a rush in the event we did not get the ideal answer.
“We wanted to ensure Prince Khalid is joyful and also the horse would be happy and that is the case.
“The horse is also still in good shape.”
