Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan was given a suspended sentence of two years and eight weeks for firing a gun to induce panic and fear, illegal possession of weapons and injury.
Turan, who’s presently on loan with Turkish club Basaksehir, will not go to prison unless he commits a crime in the subsequent five decades, after a court.
The 32-year-old was included in a struggle with Turkish singer Berkay Sahin late last year, leaving a busted nose to the singer.
Turan afterwards arrived with a gun that he fired causing anxiety.
Basaksehir said they had fined the 31-year-old 2.5 million Turkish lira (#350,648) for the episode.
Turan combined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid to get 34 million euros (#30m) in 2015, winning four prizes, making 55 appearances and scoring 15 goals for the La Liga club.
Turan has played for Turkey 100 times and scored 17 goals.
